We also have access to various prefabricated and kitset type housing options available depending on style and budget considerations. These range from around $30 a foot (for dried in shell) to over $200 a foot for fully custom high end type construction. The slope of the lot does determine the type of basement requirements. A gently sloping lot can utilize slab or pile type foundations but a more steeply sloped site may require a full block basement. While this costs more it allows for a garage or additional rooms to be placed under the house. We would be happy to advise on the suitability of a particular house plan and foundation for any lot we have for sale.
